Barnegat Light, New Jersey
At the northern tip of Long Beach Island, Barnegat Light combines a working fishing harbor, quiet residential streets, broad beaches and one of New Jersey's most recognizable landmarks: Barnegat Lighthouse, “Old Barney.”
The borough is small, but its identity is unusually strong—Viking Village, Barnegat Inlet, charter boats, marinas, independent shops, local restaurants, parks and community traditions all sit within a compact shore town.
